Bumbo

Mami is starting to feed me Papi’s Special fruit sauce with apples, pears and bananas in it, but she said she wanted to see how I sit in the Bumbo before she starts…well here she is; the result of me in the Bumbo after she breast feed me…afterwards I was actually having a good time.

Lillya has sssssooooooooo many books, I like to look at them and she likes to share some of them with me too.

Casted Foot

Mami and Papi made molds of my left foot and then casted them…I didn’t get much of the activity as I was sleeping in Mami’s arms as they were doing it; but Lillya told me I didn’t like when Mami put my foot in the cold water. The final product is not done yet, but when it is, I will have Mami put a photo of my casted foot next to Lillya’s casted foot online.

Grabbing Rings

For more than a week now I have been practicing grabbing these rings. First I look at it and then get my arm(s) in the air and finally grab them. Mami says I am getting real good at it and I can even grab the big penguin in the middle with both hands too!

Lillya's 2nd B-day

Today is Lillya’s 2nd Birthday. Mami was happy that I slept most of the afternoon so she had some time for Lillya and the guests. Now I am awake and enjoying seeing my Gotti Sandra before Mami feeds me. Later on my Grossmami and neighbor Grossmami Maya held me for a bit too.

Final Product

As my big sister says “WOW, coolie collie”. We have a red Sahara sand sandbox to play in in our own backyard! My ‘neighbor Grossmami’, Maya, even things it is super cool and the sand is so light and smooth too. Soon it will be a project completed as soon as Mami finishes making the made-to-fit cover for the sandbox to keep the cats out.

Sandbox Filling

Cool, what fun this will be when I can play in it too! Today Mami and Papi let Lillya fill the new sandbox with the Sahara sand they brought home from their 4x4 trips. Look at all the different colors – I can’t wait to see the Sahara later this fall! After Lillya got done pouring out the sand from the sand filled water bottles, Papi started with the sand filled boxes that they brought back in the large water canisters from Africa…
